Garlic Greetings!
The Cuba NY Chamber of Commerce and Empire City Farms are preparing for the 13th Annual Cuba Garlic Festival to celebrate local farming and GARLIC! As before, the event will take place Saturday from 10am-6pm, and Sunday from 10am-5pm. We’re due for TWO days of beautiful weather!
Marlene Doyle will assist Chamber Coordinator Lou Conklin. In addition, Lee James and Melodie Farwell will be heading up Garlic Heaven, Brien Learn the Garlic Marketplace, and Mary Lindquist the Garlic Expressions. They will be in touch with you about any clarifications with your applications.
Please review the enclosed application for additional details on the festival. Please read it carefully, and fill out the form completely. The deadline for discounted registration remains at April 15th. Be sure to have your application postmarked by this date to qualify for the reduced vendor fee. The final food vendor application acceptance date is June 1st, and July 13th for others. We plan to begin notifying vendors of acceptance in the middle of May, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time if you have any questions or anything you wish to share.

Each year, thousands of people have attended the Cuba Garlic Festival and we hope to attract another large crowd to our beautiful community again this year. We invite you join us for a “stinking good time” as we celebrate the harvest, give back to the community, and have great fun sharing our love for garlic and Cuba!
